Field Study #5

Date and Time: 11/12/2017
Day Length: 9 hours and 47 minutes
Present Climate Conditions: Very cold outside, blowing winds, raining, foggy outside, most of the trees have lost all of their leaves.
Temperature: 39 degrees
Organisms smelled, felt, heard: Today, I didn't find too many animals, except for deer. It was too rainy outside for anything to be moving around, and the wind was blowing too hard for anything to be heard. There still are all the pine trees, hemlock trees, etc.
Changes: The trees have almost entirely lost all of their leaves. There is only a small amount of duckweed on the edges of the pond, otherwise, it's completely gone. The temperature has dropped incredibly, and it feels like it's going to freeze soon. The pond has risen due to the vast amounts of rain we've gotten. Leaves are spread out all over, and the earth worms are out today.
